Using the service

video2greenscreen removes video backgrounds. You must be at least 18 and have permission to upload and process your video, including permission from people shown where required. Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Private videos

Videos are not published or listed publicly. Account videos require the owner's login. Guest results are accessible using a signed conversion link that expires after two hours. Anyone with that guest link can access the result until it expires or the video is saved to an account. Keep it private and download your result before it expires.

Our processing and safety providers still process private videos. Making previously public videos private cannot remove copies already downloaded by others.

Your rights and permissions

You retain your rights in your uploads. You give us permission to store, process, screen and deliver them privately to operate the service. This permission ends when we remove the content, except for necessary backups and legal records.

Private processing does not make a video copyright-free. You must own the rights or have permission to process the video and obtain any permissions needed for later use. A meme, edit or parody is not automatically exempt from copyright or privacy rules.

Prohibited content

Do not upload sexual content or nudity, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, graphic violence, hate, harassment, doxxing, or content that violates others' rights or the law. Do not use the service to impersonate others deceptively or bypass its limits. We may block, remove or restrict content and accounts. Automated screening can make mistakes; it does not certify that a video is lawful or safe.

Credits and processing

Conversion limits apply, and credit costs are shown before submission. Creating an account does not increase the free limit. Credit purchases use Stripe. Credits pay for processing within this service; they are not money and cannot be transferred. Failed or rejected conversions return reserved credits. Refund requests and statutory consumer rights remain available.

Output quality depends on the source video and model. Processing may fail, and we may change providers. Keep your own copies of files you need. The service is not an archival storage service.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy policy explains how we use your data. Newsletter signup is optional and can be withdrawn. We may update these terms; the version accepted with your account and uploads is recorded. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
